Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape in the remittance, payments, and fintech industries.
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve the company’s growth objectives.
Identify target markets, potential clients, and strategic partners.
Identify and approach potential clients and partners to establish business relationships.
Manage and grow existing client accounts by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Negotiate and close business deals to achieve sales targets.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, payment processors, and other relevant stakeholders.
Develop and manage alliances with agents and distribution networks to enhance the reach of remittance services.
Collaborate with the product development team to design and improve remittance products and services based on market feedback and customer needs.
Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote remittance services.
Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure that all business development activities comply with relevant laws and standards.
Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives, including sales metrics, market penetration, and partnership effectiveness.
Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development activities and progress.
Education: a master’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 + years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the financial services, remittance, and payments industry within the UAE.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the remittance market, payment systems, and financial services industry.
Sales and Negotiation: Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
Communication: exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to:
Accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and VAT / Corporate Tax.
Prepare and review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger system.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Assist auditors with the preparation and review of audit schedules and responding to audit queries.
Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
Experience with Xero accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in the UAE.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong ability to solve problems.
Able to work independently.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English are very important.
