Job Description
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive risk program to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Providing strategic guidance and leadership on risk matters to senior management and the board of directors.
- Monitoring regulatory developments and changes in the risk profile of the company to ensure the organization remains compliant with relevant requirements.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate compliance and operational risks.
- Providing regular reporting and updates on risk activities, issues, and trends to senior management and the board of directors.
- Managing relationships with regulatory authorities and external auditors, and overseeing regulatory examinations and audits.
- Investigating and responding to incidents, allegations, and inquiries, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment of risk efforts with business objectives.
