A regulated payments company licensed by DFSA is looking for a Seasoned Business Development Manager with 10+ years experience in UAE payments industry.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the remittance, payments, foreign exchange, and fintech industries, very strong networking skills, and the ability to execute strategic initiatives to expand the company's market presence.

Responsible For
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape in the remittance, payments, and fintech industries.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve the company’s growth objectives.
  • Identify target markets, potential clients, and strategic partners.
  • Identify and approach potential clients and partners to establish business relationships.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts by maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close business deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, payment processors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage alliances with agents and distribution networks to enhance the reach of remittance services.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to design and improve remittance products and services based on market feedback and customer needs.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote remittance services.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure that all business development activities comply with relevant laws and standards.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives, including sales metrics, market penetration, and partnership effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on business development activities and progress.

Educational Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: a master’s degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 + years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the financial services, remittance, and payments industry within the UAE.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the remittance market, payment systems, and financial services industry.
